Region II - Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton Counties

Overview

The Northwest Florida Water Management District developed the Regional Water Supply Plan (RWSP) for Region II (Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, and Walton counties) to identify future water demands, existing water sources, and alternative water supply sources to meet or exceed the Region's long-term water supply needs.

The Region II RWSP was first approved by the Governing board on February 22, 2001. Updates to the plan were approved on October 26, 2006, February 23, 2012, and January 23, 2020.

On December 13, 2018, the NWFWMD Governing Board determined that the Region II RWSP should continue.
